MPH Tour - 2007

 

The Apex Historical Society's 2018 home tour will be held

Sunday, December 2
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (rain or shine)

The tour will feature three restored historic homes, a Bed and Breakfast Inn on Kelly Road, the historic 1914 Apex train depot (home of the Chamber of Commerce) and the 1870 Maynard-Pearson House (home of the Apex Historical Society).

When you purchase a tour guide brochure (one brochure per person), that will serve as your admissions ticket and provide site location information.

The Hurst - Friedel home, 309 South Hughes Street
The Wilkerson - Kincaid Harwood home, 104 West Chatham Street
B & B's Country Garden Inn, 1041 Kelly Road
Coco Farm, 960 Luther Road

The Maynard-Pearson House - 1101 Olive Chapel Road
The Historic Downtown Depot - Chamber of Commerce - 220 North Salem Street

Ticket prices:

Advanced tickets - $10.00 per adult, $5.00 for children (12 and under), Babes-in-arms free for advance sale tickets. See advanced ticket sale locations below.

Day-of tour tickets - $12.00 per adult, $6.00 for children (12 and under), Babes-in-arms free on tour day. Day-of Ticket purchases are currently on a cash/check basis with credit card purchases available on the day of the tour at the Maynard-Pearson House location only.

Group tickets - Tickets for 25 or more people may be purchased for $8.00 each (in advance) by sending an email to ApexHistoricalSociety. Group tickets for 25 or more will be $10 on day of tour.

Tickets may be purchased in advance starting around November 12th at the following locations:

Antiques on Salem Street
Lynn's Hallmark

The Rusty Bucket

Tickets may be purchased on tour day at the Apex Chamber of Commerce (the old train station) or at the houses on the tour. Please remember that Day-of Tour Ticket purchases are currently on a cash/check basis with credit card purchases available at the Maynard-Pearson House location only.

Refreshments will be served at the Maynard-Pearson House during tour hours and the Society's Old Fashion Sweet Shoppe will offer homemade candies for sale to benefit operation of the Maynard-Pearson House. AHS Note Cards will also be available for sale at the Maynard-Pearson House during the tour.
